The Farm

Thanks to the happy encounter between Marco (a zoologist very passionate about animals and plants from all over the world) and Loris (a banker, very passionate about cooking, also a Pilates and fitness teacher, and lover of farming,) in 2007 The Fattoria delle Tartarughe was born, a magic place where people, plants, and animals live in full armony.

Eco-sustainability

“ At the Farm we lead a project of sustainable turism, which for us means simply respect of nature and others( people)?
Fun and relax are mixed (linked?) with small responsible actions which are not in conflict with the balance of nature. In a small island like ours, which has always had problems due to the lack of water, this means to be aware of any waste of it and waste of elecrticity ( i.e. air conditioning). This also means to respect towards all animlas and their life balance, to embrace the absence of amenities such as the TV and other devices in the rooms. This also means to reduce our footprint on the planet as much as possible, and leave more space to enjoy to the full a different kind of unforgettable holiday in armony with the beauty of the place and therefore of ourselves” ( Marco and Loris).

The Farm is the ideal place where to slow down and find again your breath, to enjoy a holiday in a very authentic and comfortable place, which also will tell you a lot about Marco and Loris and their idea of Hospitality.

It is a place where conviviality and research for silence coexist, where to look at the nature in all its forms: flowers, plants, animals, the cork tree woods for a magic walk, within the area of the farm, or being really close to some of th most beautiful beaches of the south Sardinia, as well as “Il Monte dei 7 Fratelli” for some trekking.

Also it will be possible to visit some archeological sites, and a beautiful city, Cagliari, full of culture and atmosphere.
